When I say that, what I mean is “Keep trying. Don’t give up on the fight”
Staying strong doesn’t mean not asking for help, keeping yourself from crying, acting as though you’re fine, etc. It isn’t weak to admit you aren’t ok, to fall apart, to need a day in bed, having to stay home from class to figure your mind out, etc.
You are strong for taking care of yourself, feeling your emotions, letting yourself fall apart, etc
